Japan Customs Seize 2,300 Counterfeit SD Memory Cards, Estimated Retail Value $39,745
Japan Customs Officials located at Narita Airport seized 2,300 counterfeit SD memory cards entering the country from Shenzhen China. SD-3C LLC (“SD-3C”) then filed a complaint against the importers for trademark infringement.
Japan Customs Officials later informed SD-3C the importers forfeited the counterfeit SD memory cards for destruction in lieu of any further legal action.
