Customs Raid Conducted on Electronics Company in Heibronn Germany, Resulting in Seizure of Counterfeit SD Memory Cards
On or about January 13, 2020, Heibronn Customs Police raided a local electronics company, which lead to the confiscation of over 900 counterfeit SD memory cards bearing counterfeit microSDHC and microSDXC trademarks. The estimated retail value of the confiscated memory cards had they been genuine is approximately $29,000.
Further investigation and legal action are pending.
