Japan Customs Confiscate Counterfeit SD Memory Cards and SD Host Products, Estimated Retail Value $11,600.
Tokyo Customs Officials seized 580 counterfeit SD memory cards and USB card readers infringing on the microSDHC and microSD trademarks. This shipment, originating from China, was intercepted by Japanese Customs to prevent the importation of fake goods into the country.
On behalf of SD-3C LLC an infringement complaint has been filed with Japanese Customs authorities.
