Japan Customs Confiscate Counterfeit SD Memory Cards and CD Players, Estimated Retail Value $12,750.
Japanese Customs Officials confiscated approximately 400 counterfeit SD memory cards and 90 CD players infringing on the SD and microSD trademarks. The counterfeit goods seized represent the export of infringing products leaving Hangzhou, China for importation into Japan. /p>
In lieu of further legal action, the importer forfeited the goods for destruction under the supervision of Japan Customs Officials.
