Brazilian Authorities Conduct Coordinated Raid Action in the City of Maceio, Seizing Counterfeit SD Memory Cards and SD Host Products, Estimated Retail Value $31,500.
Authorities from the Federal Revenue Repression Division and Highway Federal Police together conducted a raid at various electronic shops in the city of Maceio, State of Alagoas, resulting in seizure of approximately 2,100 counterfeit SD memory cards and adapters infringing on the microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC trademarks.
The Authorities transferred the confiscated products to a Customs Warehouse for destruction.
