Japan Customs Confiscate Counterfeit SD Memory Cards, Estimated Retail Value $9,000.
Japan Customs Officials located in the city of Sakai, confiscated approximately 600 counterfeit SD memory cards infringing on the microSDHC trademark. The memory cards seized represent the export of infringing products leaving Kwai Tsing, Hong Kong for importation into Japan.
The importer forfeited the counterfeit SD memory cards for destruction under the supervision of Japanese Customs Officials.
