German Customs Seize Counterfeit SD Memory Cards, Estimated Retail Value $60,000
German Customs Officials at the Leipzig Airport confiscated 4,000 counterfeit SD memory cards.
The memory cards represent the export of infringing products leaving Hong Kong for importation into the city of Duisburg.
In lieu of facing legal action by SD-3C LLC, the importer signed a cease and desist, and forfeited the counterfeit SD memory cards for destruction, which will be carried out by German Customs Officials.
