November 2018:
German Customs Seize Counterfeit SD Memory Cards
German Customs Police located at Leipzig Airport seized over 1,300 counterfeit SD memory cards with an estimated retail value of $21,700.
The infringing memory cards originated from China and were imported by individuals located in the cities of Hanover, Mittenwald and Stuttgart.
Further, in lieu of facing legal action by SD-3C LLC, each importer signed a cease and desist, and forfeited the counterfeit SD memory cards for destruction, which will be carried out by German Customs Police.
SD-3C LLC is dedicated to the enforcement and protection of its intellectual property rights (IPR), and vigilantly protects its IPR from unauthorized use around the world.
